Make something together.
Gather your favorite people and spend time creating together at Brevard Clay. Our guided group pottery experiences are designed for friends, families, multigenerational groups, teams, clubs and celebrations. Mixed ages are welcome; instruction is adapted to the ages and experience levels in the group.

Clay, studio tools, instruction, standard studio finishing and firing are included. Finished work is fired and available for pickup.

Up to 8 participants | 2-hour guided experience
A hands-on introduction to the pottery wheel. Clay, studio tools and guided instruction are included. Each participant keeps one finished piece and chooses one available studio dip glaze. Brevard Clay handles standard trimming/finishing, glazing and firing. Finished pieces are available for pickup.

Choose from our studio selection and paint at your own pace. The price of the pottery includes studio glazes and firing.
RESERVATIONS & GROUP SIZE
Reservations are required, and the project or experience is selected in advance. Group size is confirmed based on the selected experience.
Groups larger than 12 generally require a private or after-hours arrangement.
Brevard Clay assigns the teaching space based on the experience, group size and studio schedule. When appropriate, we may use our semi-private room at no additional charge. Groups that want to guarantee exclusive use of the semi-private room may reserve it for an additional $75.
Private/after-hours arrangements are priced separately. Custom projects, specialty materials and additional pieces are not included in standard pricing. Shipping is available for an additional charge.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to know how to do pottery?
Not at all. Our experiences are designed for all skill levels—whether it’s your first time or you’ve worked with clay before.
How much do pottery pieces cost?
Most Paint-Your-Own Pottery pieces range from about $25–$45, depending on what you choose.
Can we bring food, drinks, or decorations?
Yes! You’re welcome to bring your own food, drinks, and decorations…especially in the Creative Space or for private events.
How long do we have?
Most reservations are for 2 hours, which is plenty of time to relax, create, and enjoy the experience together. If you need longer just let us know!
How many people can we bring?
Group size depends on the reservation type. Table reservations are great for groups 8-16, the Creative Space is great for 5 - 12 guests and private events can accommodate up to 50.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes—especially for Creative Space and private events. We recommend booking ahead to ensure availability.
What happens after we finish our pieces?
We’ll take care of the final glazing and firing process. Your finished pieces will be ready for pickup at a later date.
Is this good for kids and adults?
Yes—our space is welcoming for all ages. We host everything from kids’ birthdays to adult gatherings and celebrations.
