Kids Classes

Our kids’ programs are designed to introduce young makers to the basics of ceramics through age-appropriate classes, workshops, and camps. Whether they’re hand-building pinch pots, glazing silly sculptures, or trying the wheel for the first time, they’re learning through play in a safe, supportive space.

We offer creative experiences for ages 5-16, with options throughout the year.

Clay Summer Camp

Monday–Thursday | Weekly Sessions with different themes!

Intro / Exploration Clay Camp

$160 | Monday–Thursday | 10:00–11:30 AM (1.5 hours): Perfect for younger students or beginners, this camp focuses on playful exploration and foundational hand-building clay skills.

Intermediate Clay Camp

$200 | Monday–Thursday | 12:00–2:00 PM (2 hours): Designed for older students or students with previous clay experience, this camp provides more time for larger projects and technique challenges, including time on the potters wheel!

Give young artists the chance to play, create, and explore with clay in a welcoming studio environment. Each week features a unique theme that inspires imagination and hands-on creativity. Campers will also decorate their own clay bag and participate in a short reflection activity to celebrate what they learned.

All projects are fired and glazed at Brevard Clay, and finished pieces will be ready for pickup after firing (1-2 weeks after end of class. And yes, shipping is available!)
